JOHANNESBURG, Germany – Deputy President Paul Mashatile has urged South Africans to celebrate Christmas responsibly and those traveling to follow traffic laws.
Mashatile sent out a Christmas message on Sunday, wishing everyone a Merry Christmas.
He stated that it was critical to reflect on the nation’s accomplishments while also acknowledging the difficulties encountered.
“Take a moment to think about those who are less fortunate, the sick, vulnerable and destitute, who are unable to fully enjoy the festive season because of the scourge of social ills.”
Meanwhile, South Africans, according to Parliament, should lend a helping hand to those in need.
Moloto Mothapo, the spokesperson, said: “The presiding officers encourage believers to seek a deep spiritual connection with the Lord and strive to embody His qualities of humility, love, forgiveness, compassion and kindness.”
