During the CAF Confederation Cup match on Sunday, Chibuke Ohizu of Sekhukhune United was challenged by Modibo Sissoko of Stade Malien.
Sekhukhune United coach Lehlohonolo Seema expects a difficult match against AmaZulu in the DStv Premiership match at King Zwelithini Stadium on Wednesday (7.30pm).
Babina Noko enter the game after a goalless draw with Stade Malien in a CAF Confederation Cup group match on Sunday at Peter Mokaba Stadium.
Seema expects Usuthu to come out guns blazing after losing their previous match to Mamelodi Sundowns, but they will also put up a fight because they desperately want the victory.
“It’s been very difficult [due to their hectic schedule], but the players have been very cooperative and patient with us.” “We’re asking a lot of them,” Seema said at the post-match press conference.
“The mood right now is a little low. But we will work hard and field a strong team against AmaZulu because we require those points.
“This will not be easy. They just lost their previous game, and I’m sure they don’t want to lose two in a row. It will be difficult, but we will fight on Wednesday.”
Having not had enough time to implement his philosophy due to their hectic schedule since he took over, Seema stated that he would use the Africa Cup of Nations (Afcon) break to do so, and that they would be different after the break.
“There is still a lot of work to do and we need the Afcon break and we will use it very well, but as I said, there are a lot of positives that we can take,” he went on to say.
Meanwhile, SuperSport United suffered their third defeat of the season on Sunday, falling 2-1 to Al Hilal Benghazi.
